Resi Ultra Cure

Resi Ultra Cure Resin is a single-component, UV-curable formulation designed for versatile application across a range of creative and functional uses. Its one-part system simplifies integration into workflows, making it particularly suitable for artistic and decorative purposes such as jewellery, crafts, keychains, and knot filling in timber-work. Additionally, its rapid-curing properties support efficient placement and securing of small electronic components and precision tasks.

The resin demonstrates excellent adhesion to a broad spectrum of substrates, including ceramics, paper, glass, metal, stone, and select rigid plastics. It cures to a smooth, bubble-free and mechanically robust finish with notable resistance to environmental factors, including yellowing and weather degradation.

Application Guidelines

• Apply: Dispense the resin directly onto the prepared surface.

• Cure: Use a 36-watt UV lamp, positioned 10–25 cm above the surface. Cure for at least 5 minutes.

• Faster Curing: A higher-intensity lamp may be used; however, care should be taken to adjust the distance to prevent premature surface curing, which can lead to warping or distortion

• Layering: For thicker applications, apply in multiple thin layers to avoid surface distortion or shrinkage.

Curing Characteristics

·         Cure Mechanism: UV light (365–405 nm optimal range)

·         Initial Cure Time: ~5 minutes under 36W UV lamp

·         Final Properties: Clear, strong, weather-resistant, resists yellowing

Storage Instructions

Store Resi Ultra Cure in its original, light-blocking (black) container at ambient room temperature (ideally between 15°C and 25°C). Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources. When stored properly in a sealed container, the resin maintains a shelf life of approximately six months.
