River Board Workshop
Join us on Saturday 21st June from 9am - 3pm to create your very own resin & timber masterpiece in our River Board Workshop - Beginner to Intermediate Level!
This workshop is $400 per person, with 14 spaces available in total.

What To Expect:
Join us for an inspiring and hands-on workshop designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to create stunning resin and timber pieces. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your existing skills, this class offers the perfect blend of theory, demonstration, and practical experience.
We’ll provide everything you need on the day – including all tools and materials such as resin, timber, pigments and gloves. Just bring your creativity! We also recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy.

What You'll Create:
During the workshop, you'll create your own resin and timber river board, approximately 500mm (L) x 320mm (W). While the board won't be fully completed on the day due to curing time, you'll leave with the knowledge and techniques needed to finish it at home in your own time, using your preferred finishing method.
The techniques and knowledge you gain can be applied to a wide range of future projects, from small artworks to larger undertakings like river tables, with casting framing techniques utilizing readily accessible materials, at reasonable costs – no silicone moulds or HPDE moulds required.

What You'll Learn:
Led by the experienced team at Resi Art - you’ll be guided step-by-step through the entire creative process. Our talented instructor will cover:
- An introduction to resin and essential safety practices.
- Overview of Resi Art resin types and their ideal applications.
- Techniques for mixing pigments and achieving beautiful colour effects.
- Timber preparation and custom framing construction options (all methods are scalable, so can be used to create table tops too!).
- Tips and demonstrations for working with resin effectively and troubleshooting common issues.
- Sanding, polishing and finishing methods for professional results.

Why Join Us?
This workshop is a dynamic, fun-filled experience where creativity meets craftsmanship. Beyond the class, you’ll also receive ongoing technical support - we’re just a phone call or email away whenever you need advice or assistance on your future projects.
